“ 2025/5/30に訪問。 近くのホテルに泊まった際、お薦めの1件として教えてもらいました。すぐに満席になると聞いていましたが、19時を過ぎてしまい、ダメ元で行ったところ、カウンター席が僅かに空いていました。 小上がり席には賑やかグループ連れ、カウンター席は2人連れ、1人客は私だけでした。1人旅なので仕方ないですが、ちょっと寂しい…でも厨房も活気があり、いるだけで元気になる雰囲気です。 生中はビールは今時珍しいキリンラガー、苦さが染み渡ります。瓶もラガーしか置いていないのは店主の拘りでしょうか？日本酒は大阪の地酒はありませんでしたが、全国銘酒が置いてあり、飲み比べもできます。 肴には居酒屋メニューの定番、ポテサラ、揚げ出し豆腐、串焼き、だし巻き玉子、おばんざいSet miniなどを注文。どれも500～600円と手頃な価格ながら美味しかったです。 初見でしたが、居心地の良い店でした。また再訪したいです。 ”
“ 2025.09.11 明日の仕事に備え大阪に前乗りしてきた喜谷さんは、初めて南海電鉄の堺駅前に宿をとった。宿で少しゴトシを片付けて２０時を回った辺りから威力偵察に出動。今回突入を果たしたのは、南海電鉄堺駅南口から徒歩１分にある居酒屋おやじ殿。何でも大将自ら毎朝市場に赴き、魚介を仕入れているとの由。では折角なので泉州の刺身でも…と思ったところで目に付いたのが謎メニュー『まぐろラビット(税込980円)』だ。まぐろの腹ビレ付近の肉の焼き物らしい。何でラビットと言うのかについては、お店の方もご存じない様で…。まあ食べたら解るだろうと腹を括ってまぐろラビットを発注。繋ぎとしてポテトサラダ(税込450円)と小松菜ナムル(税込450円)を頂きながら焼き上がりを待つことにした。 １５分弱でまぐろラビットはやって来た。パッと見はカマ焼きの様な感じ。とろっとした舌触りだが、カマの肉よりも味が濃い様に思われた。なので赤星が残っているにも関わらず手取川(税込850円)を投入。日本酒に併せてチビチビ楽しませて頂いた。 次に頂くは信号焼き(税込780円)。これも名前からは何だか判らない代物。兎に角頼んで待つこと１０分でやって来ました信号焼き。要は出汁巻き玉子。ネギと明太子で赤青黄色を揃えたから信号焼きとのこと。ピリ辛な明太子とシャキっとした万能ねぎ、それと出汁が効いた卵焼きが良い塩梅な濃い目の味付けだったので、思いのほかお酒が進んで手取川も蒸発。急遽土佐鶴の辛口本醸造(税込500円)を追加して、〆の魚ぞうすい(税込600円)に繋ぐのであった。 居酒屋おやじの構えは１０人掛けのＬ字カウンターお小上がり。小上がりは掘り炬燵状の構造で、合計２０人くらいは軽く座れそうな雰囲気だ。調理は大将のワンオペで、ホールほかを４名のスタッフで切り盛りされている。ほぼ満席の状態だったが、大将の調理速度が恐ろしく速く衰えることも無く且つ女将さんっぽい方の水澄ましぶりが冴えており更にホールの皆さんのキビキビっぷりと愛想の良さが相俟って、料理が提供まで待たされた言う感覚は殆ど無かった。因みにお通しと言うポジションの商品は無く、先に頼んだポテトサラダや小松菜ナムルなどの『おばんざいメニュー』がお通し代わりとのコトでした。 因みに魚ぞうすいはエノキとシメジそして魚の切り身をこれでもか！ってくらい投入されて煮込まれた。これが600円で頂けるなら、この界隈のラーメン屋さんの深夜営業は厳しいよね…と言う逸品でした。 左隣に居られた常連のお姉さん(『映像研には手を出すな！』の金森さん風)とコミュニケーションが図れず終わってしまったのと、握り寿司を頂かずに〆てしまったのは残念だが、南海電鉄堺駅前に泊まる機会があれば、また御邪魔させて頂きたいお店でした…(*´ω｀*) ”

Visited here by chance as another Izakaya bar located just next to my hotel was closed, but it seemed to be a popular place in the area and was full in no time. The bar is not too noisy, but is lively in a good way. The food is inexpensive, very tasty and served so quickly. The Kirin Lager on tap is fantastic. Lots of Japanese Sake. The Fugu fin in hot Sake is superb. I wish there was an izakaya like this in my town. PayPay is accepted. Credit cards are not accepted. No parking. ”
